What Is a Vibraderm™ Infusion Treatment?
A Vibraderm™ infusion treatment is done with an extremely rapidly vibrating sterile paddle covered with abrasive particles. This process exfoliates damaged skin tissue to stimulate collagen growth and expose healthier, more radiant skin. Large areas on the face, neck, chest, back, arms, legs and feet can be treated quickly. Vibraderm™ infusion therapy typically increases the skin’s ability to absorb moisturizers or other skin products and can be used to apply therapeutic creams or lotions immediately after the skin is exfoliated.
What Are the Benefits?
A Vibraderm™ infusion treatment may help to improve or reduce the appearance of:
- Rough skin
- Poor skin texture/dull skin
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Age spots/hyperpigmentation
- Acne prone skin/oily skin
- Acne scarring
- Enlarged pores
What Is the Time Frame and How Many Clinical Treatments Will I Need?
Vibraderm™ infusion treatment benefits tend to be cumulative and are generally performed in a series of up to ten weekly treatments. New collagen growth may start to appear in as few as three weeks, producing smoother, healthier-looking skin. More treatments may be needed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, enlarged pores and hyperpigmentation. Your Skin Care Center aesthetician will discuss with you and recommend the best approach for your individual needs.
What Happens During a Vibraderm™ Infusion Treatment?
Treatments take about 30 minutes. Your skin will be cleansed before the exfoliating treatment, which feels like a soothing massage. The other side of the paddle may be used to apply therapeutic moisturizer deep into the skin. Sunscreen will be applied to protect treated skin.
What Can I Expect?
Vibraderm™ infusion treatments are soothing and comfortable.
What Happens After a Vibraderm™ Infusion Treatment?
You can immediately return to work or social activities. Some patients experience redness that fades within an hour. You may apply makeup afterward. Treated skin must be protected with a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 before any sun exposure.
