An All-Natural Option to Tighten Loose, Lax Skin
The Titan procedure is a great treatment for turning back the clock on aging skin. The process tightens skin using infrared energy to stimulate collagen growth deep beneath the skin’s surface, creating a younger, more buoyant complexion. If you’re experiencing wrinkled or sagging skin that shows visible signs of aging, visit our Mt. Vernon office to speak with a cosmetic dermatologist. You may be an excellent candidate for this treatment.

How does the Titan Procedure Work?
Titan utilizes a safe infrared light to heat the dermis well below the skin’s surface. Without surgery, recovery time, or injections, Titan skin tightening is an ideal solution for your face, abdomen, arms, and other parts of the body that have noticeably aged skin. During the procedure, the skin’s top surface, the epidermis, is protected through continuous cooling with the Titan handpiece. The treatment’s light-based platform provides a more uniform energy distribution, heating the deep dermis more powerfully than other energy sources.

What Areas Respond Best to the Titan Procedure?
Most areas of the body are good candidates for this procedure. The most common areas treated are the jawline and under the chin, but it is not uncommon for us to have patients who request treatment on their arms and/or abdomen.

Who can be Treated?
The Titan skin tightening procedure heats tissue under the skin’s surface. This means that patients of any skin type, pigment, or age can be treated.

What does Titan Skin Tightening Feel Like?
With each Titan pulse, you will feel a brief heating sensation. Some patients are more comfortable taking a mild pain reliever before the procedure, but most of our patients are comfortable without needing any medication. If you are concerned about your pain tolerance, just let one of our doctors know.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?
Although a single procedure can produce very good results for most people, our patients typically prefer to have two or three treatments over several months. This ensures a longer lasting and more noticeable result.

What Happens after the Treatment?
Immediately following the treatment, you may notice some redness and mild swelling in the treated areas. Both should dissipate within a few hours. There is no required recovery time, but your skin may be more sensitive to sunlight in the hours following the procedure. We recommend wearing protective clothing and staying out of the sun for the rest of the day.

Will a Titan Procedure Work for Me?
This treatment is remarkably effective for a range of skin types and ages, which means most people are excellent candidates.
